At last....I think I've decided what to get...just thought I'd run it by you chaps and hopefully benefit from your experience....I'm 74kg and mostly interested in running (at the moment!) my buying choice is:

Anarchy Elbow Gasket
OFFICIAL 7LEAGUES SHIN GUARDS
OFFICIAL 7LEAGUES KNEE STRAPS
pro-jump Wrist Pads

I'd appreciate your comments or suggestions on replacement items (mistakes), or anything I've forgotten to get.  I realise I'm about to spend £300, which is a huge amount when I haven't tried it before but my thinking is that I don't want to waste time/money later when things start breaking or making annoying noises, that's why I've hopefully gone for quality kit - just hope I actually enjoy it when I get started!
Any comments...good or bad, gratefully accepted.
